Oleander is one the plants supposed to have been used by the Mediterranean Sibyls to induce a prophetic trance and as such is a sacred power plant. It is known to be toxic but safe to use as a flower essence only.
Oleander doesn’t take us into the otherworld so much as it brings the otherworld into us and allows the wisdom of the divine to animate our material being. It taps into the archetypal and imaginal realms where the underground networks of energy twist and turn into vortexes rising and falling into and out of material reality. It shapes us, shapes our psyche and soul, our dreams and our visions so that we can perceive these patterns and maps of the divine as a message, a sign, or a vision. Oleander is a divinatory essence that can aid us with work using tarot, astrology, dreamwork plant spirit medicine, and other “shamanic” or witchcraft practices..
Dose: Use before a divination session by putting 1-3 drops under your tongue or in water. Or use as part of your ongoing healing journey by taking 1-3 drops under your tongue or in water 3-5 times per day but at least 2x per day for one full moon cycle.
This essence is a “stock” bottle. A stock bottle is a dilution of the original “mother” essence made by taking 7 drops of the mother and putting it into a 60:40 ratio of spring water to alcohol and potentizing it by shaking. This stock bottle can be further diluted into a dosage bottle by taking 3 drops of the stock essence and putting it into 1/2 ounce of spring water.
