Italian Bugloss : Buglossa Azzurra

This essence was made on the mountain next to the ​​Santuario di Montevergine, the sanctuary of La Madonna di Montevergine. This sanctuary is located in the region of Campanian in the province of Avellino. The mountain belongs to a vast range known as the Southern Apennines.

The Madonna of Monteveringe is the patron of the LGBTQ community. She is also one of Italy’s Black Madonnas, an Earth mother, the dark mother of us all. She is an iteration of the goddess Cybele and her current sanctuary is on the site where the goddess was worshiped.

This essence is particularly helpful for those that swing from one extreme to the other or who find themselves becoming consumed by binary thinking. It softens the swing so that it becomes something more cyclical and less polarized. It also holds the energetic pattern of the infinity symbol that represents the infinite possibilities as well as the figure 8 movement between coherent phases. This symbol represents regeneration, and the birth, death, rebirth cycle of life.
This essence is a “stock” bottle. A stock bottle is a dilution of the original “mother” essence made by taking 7 drops of the mother and putting it into a 60:40 ratio of spring water to alcohol and potentizing it by shaking. This stock bottle can be further diluted into a dosage bottle by taking 3 drops of the stock essence and putting it into 1/2 ounce of spring water.
