Gathering Wild Black Cherry Bark

We made a video of our Spring Wild Cherry Bark gathering adventure. I am joined  by two students, Lauren and Pete and, of course, my ever-present companion Bell. The first smells of Spring are arriving along with some early returning song birds. The sap is running with the cold nights and warming days and I take advantage of this time to gather barks as they begin to circulate their nutritious and healing juices.

Our Spring excursion for Wild Cherry Bark(Prunus Serotina) with myself and students Lauren and Pete. Oh, and of course, Bell!
